LinkPizza uses a 302 redirect instead of the previously recommended 301 redirect to avoid your visitors caching a stale link. When using a 301 redirect the visitors browser is told that the link is permanently redirected to the outcome of the redirect. As LinkPizza is able to change the affiliate link incase the program changes affiliate network or the commission is higher on a different network the visitors browser needs to be able to change the result of a redirect when needed.

By using a 302 the browser will always check the outcome of the redirect again, making sure that the outcome is the desired one instead of a possibly outdated link as a result of a 301.
