How do I choose the right influencers for my campaign?

When choosing the right influencers for your campaign, it is best to first ask yourself the following question: Which target group do I want to reach with my campaign? From that question you can start looking for influencers. In our system you have a number of filters to search for the right target group:

  • Product: post, review or link

  • Channel: Website, YouTube or Instagram

  • Demographics

  • Category influencer

  • Range

  • Domain Authority

You can get started straight away from the system or first draw out your target group on a piece of paper based on the filters or process it in an Excel sheet.

Below we will explain what the various components entail.

1. Product: post, review or link

First you choose which product you want to use. The options are a post (for example an article, Instagram post or video), a review and link. A post and review consist of unique content produced by the influencer. With a review, the influencer tests the actual product or service. The condition is that you make this available. A link refers to link placement in an existing article, which is only available for websites, not for social media.

2. Channel: Website, YouTube or Instagram

Then choose which channel you are looking for influencers on: Website, YouTube or Instagram. Also consider your goal: websites are particularly suitable for findability, and Instagram channels are particularly suitable for engagement and brand awareness. Do you want a full product description? Then YouTube may be the most suitable channel for you.

3. Demographics

At LinkPizza you can target very specifically by demographics. This makes it very easy to actually reach the target group you have in mind. In the system you can choose from the following filters:

  1. Gender: man, woman or mix of both

  2. Age: 13 to 65+ (7 intermediate options)

4. Category influencer

Choose categories that match your product or brand. Are you a travel organization or do you want to promote a travel product? Then look for influencers in the 'travel' category.

Do you want to generate a broader reach? Then also look at categories outside your own category. It's also good to look at like-minded people in other categories. Children's beds fit perfectly for shopping, but also for family & parenting and home & garden.

5. Reach

Finally, you can choose how much reach you want to generate with your campaign. If you want to create a lot of reach, you will automatically end up with the larger influencers. Would you like to post an Instagram story with a link? Then the channel must have at least 10,000 followers, otherwise the function is not available. However, do not forget that several influencers with a lower reach sometimes have a higher engagement and together also have a large reach.

6. Domain Authority

Once filtered by websites, you can indicate which minimum Domain Authority this website must meet.
